WELCOME TO RADMOOR TRAINING

We specialise in the provision of First Aid, Manual Handling and Health & Safety Training, Courses and Qualifications.

Our qualifications and courses range from basic first aid courses for use in the home to specialist first aid qualifications for the workplace or for dealing with infants and children.

Radmoor Training teaches all over the UK, wherever training is required. As such, we do not have a “home base”, just an office. We use an assortment of high quality venues to ensure that your course is delivered in clean, comfortable and appropriate conditions.

We can also teach at your venue. If you are a business and have a conference / meeting room or a club with a clubhouse we can utilise your venue, meaning you don’t have to travel anywhere!

  • Excellent quality courses at extremely reasonable, competitive prices.
  • More than just training – you receive a regulated (QCF) qualification at no extra charge on our primary courses as we’re approved by Qualsafe Awards, an awarding organisation recognised by Ofqual to offer regulated qualifications.
  • FREE, no obligation first aid needs assessment.
  • Minimum delegate numbers not always required.
  • Flexible service so we’ll always try to help if you need courses quickly.
  • Choice of venues so you can attend a course at one of our quality UK training centres, or invite us to run the course at your premises.
  • Bespoke training available so we can deliver courses to suit your exact needs.
  • Professional, experienced trainers who make learning enjoyable.
  • Complete range of First Aid equipment available for purchase, including First Aid kits plus new and reconditioned AED (Automated External Defibrillator) units.
WHERE DOES OUR NAME COME FROM?

Our main office is located next to Cannock Chase, and area of outstanding natural beauty situated in the Midlands. We wanted a company name that tied us into to our surrounding area, so we chose Radmoor. Radmoor most probably comes from the Old English rudu mor, meaning The [Place at the] Red Moor. Occupied since the Stone Age, Radmoor (now know as Redmoor) was the home of a Cistercian Abbey during Medival times and also represents one of the first recorded examples of coal mining around Cannock Chase, and activity the area is famed for. Remains of the Abbey, along with what was probably a Royal Hunting Lodge planned by Henry II are still visible in the area.

WHATS SPECIAL ABOUT OUR TRAINERS

Our Training Team are all professional trainers with experience in their chosen fields.  We don't use trainers who are training just because they have been doing the job for a while.  Emphasis is placed as much on the content as it is on delivery methods.

For First Aid training, all of our trainers hold professional training qualifications along with qualifications at an appropriate first aid or medical level (or higher).  They also hold qualifications in the assessing of learners.  This ensures we meet all the requirements of delivering First Aid training as laid out by Skills for Health.

CERTIFICATION YOU RECEIVE FROM US

Where ever possible we use regulated qualifications for our training.  This means we are approved by Qualsafe Awards, an Awarding Organisation recognised by Ofqual to provide regulated qualifications.

Receiving a regulated qualification means you do not need to worry about the what the quality, quantity or subject matter of your training.  We undergo an intensive process of internal and external quality control to ensure our training is of the highest standard.  Many bodies may ask to see you certification, such as the HSE, Ofqual, any trade body associations and / or your insurance company.  Having a regulating qualification means you certificate is instantly recognised and accepted without the need for you to complete any due diligence process.

Where a regulated qualification does not exist for your chosen topic then you will receive a Certificate of Attendance listing the topics covered.
