Qualification Summary
The aim of the Manual Handling ToolBox Talk / Refresher is to provide refresher training to those already trained in Manual Handling techniques. It will enable learners to refresh the knowledge and competencies needed to safely access and perform manual handling operations within their workplace.
Who Should Take This Qualification ?
You should take this course if you have already received training in Manual Handling or Safer Handling.
Prerequisites
To take this course you should have already received recent relevant training in Manual Handling. If this is not the case you will need to take a full Manual Handling qualification such as the Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling or Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling. You will be required to complete practical activities & assessments during the Manual Handling ToolBox Talk / Refresher course. Learners do not need good literacy skills to complete the course or qualification, but there will be a multiple choice paper at the end of the course.
