The 2 day (12 hour) Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid is based on the Ofsted guidelines for people who work with, or look after, children to enable them to have a basic knowledge of how to deal with emergency first aid situations. The aim of the qualification is to enable learners to attain the knowledge and competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations which can arise when working with or looking after children. Learners should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of the paediatric first aider. Our Blended Learning program allows the completion of part of the course via our e-Learning platform. The learner then attends 1 day of face to face training to complete the practical elements of the qualification.
