The purpose of the Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis is to assist the Learner to update their knowledge and their continuing professional development (CPD) through developing the skills and knowledge needed to provide Basic Life Support and manage Anaphylaxis.
Who Should Take This Qualification ?
You should take this course if you have a responsibility at work, at home or in a voluntary or community activity in being able to provide Basic Life Support and deal with casualties managing Anaphylaxis during an emergency situation. You may already hold a First Aid qualification but wish to extend your knowledge on managing Anaphylaxis.
There are no prerequisites for this course. You will be required to complete practical activities & assessments during the Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis. Learners do not need good literacy skills to complete the course or qualification, but there will be a multiple choice paper at the end of the course. What Will I Learn ?
