Who Should Take This Qualification ?
You should take this qualification if you have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, in being able to provide BLS when dealing with an emergency situation which may involve using an AED.
There are no prerequisites for this course. You will be required to complete practical activities & assessments during the Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator. Learners do not need good literacy skills to complete the course or qualification, but there will be a multiple choice paper at the end of the course.
