he aim of the Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid is to enable learners to attain the knowledge and competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations specifically associated with children and babies. Learners should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of the first aider and the specific requirements of dealing with a sick or injured child or baby.
Who Should Take This Qualification ?
You should take this course if you work with, look after or have a responsibility for children and / or babies. Alternatively, you may just wish to learn more about administering First Aid to children and babies.
There are no prerequisites for this course. You will be required to complete practical activities & assessments during the Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid. Learners do not need good literacy skills to complete the course or qualification, but there will be a multiple choice paper at the end of the course.
